Greg Maffei - oversees the Liberty family of companies as they compete in the digital mobile era. Liberty's stocks have consistently outperformed the indexes and peers. Liberty Media ranked #5 in Fortune’s 2017-2018 World’s Most Admired Companies in the Media & Entertainment Industry.
Maffei serves as President and CEO of Liberty Media Corporation, which owns media and entertainment businesses, including subsidiaries Formula 1, SiriusXM and the Atlanta Braves, and an interest in Live Nation Entertainment. He is President and CEO of Liberty Broadband Corporation, which consists primarily of a 25% voting stake in Charter Communications, as well as President and CEO of GCI Liberty, whose principal assets consist of its subsidiary GCI and interests in Charter Communications and Liberty Broadband. Maffei also serves as Chairman and CEO of Liberty TripAdvisor, which holds a controlling interest in TripAdvisor.
In addition, Maffei serves as Chairman of Qurate Retail, Inc., which owns digital commerce businesses, including subsidiaries QVC, HSNi and zulily and interests in FTD and ILG. Maffei also serves as Chairman of the Liberty-related companies Live Nation Entertainment, Pandora, SiriusXM and TripAdvisor, and a Director of Charter Communications and Zillow.
Prior to joining Liberty in 2005, Maffei served as Co-President of Oracle, Chairman and CEO of 360networks, and CFO of Microsoft. He has also served as a Director of Barnes & Noble, Citrix, DIRECTV, Dorling Kindersley, Electronic Arts and Starbucks and was Chairman of Expedia and Starz.
Maffei is a member of the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College and Council on Foreign Relations. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and an AB from Dartmouth College.
Mike George was named President and CEO of Qurate Retail, Inc., in March 2018. In this role, Mike leads Qurate Retail Group, a select group of seven leading retail brands – QVC, HSN, zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill and Grandin Road – all dedicated to providing a ‘third way to shop,’ beyond transactional ecommerce or traditional brick-and-mortar stores.

Mike previously served for 12 years as President and CEO of QVC, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qurate Retail, Inc. (formerly Liberty Interactive Corporation). As retail evolved and technology advanced, Mike and his team developed new ways to engage customers over multiple television, ecommerce, mobile and social platforms, expanded QVC’s footprint into Italy, China, and France, and positioned QVC as a leading retailer in Beauty, Fashion, Culinary, and other growth categories. QVC also extended its industry leadership through Liberty Interactive’s acquisitions of zulily and HSN, Inc.
Mike came to QVC, Inc. from Dell, Inc., where he was the Chief Marketing Officer and also led its U.S. Consumer business. Prior to this, Mike was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc., and led the firm’s North American Retail Industry Group. He also served as a member of the firm’s partner evaluation committee.
Mike serves on the Board of Directors for Qurate Retail, Inc., Brinker International, the National Retail Federation, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, and the National Constitution Center, where he also chairs the Corporate Council. He also is a member of CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion. Mike served on the Payless ShoeSource Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006, and served on the Kimmel Center Board of Directors for six years.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, and his master’s degree in finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Richard N. Baer – serves as Chief Legal Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and GCI Liberty. Mr. Baer has been with Liberty since January 2013. Previously, Mr. Baer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of UnitedHealth Group Incorporated and was formerly Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of Qwest Communications International, Inc. Prior to joining Qwest, Mr. Baer served as chairman of the litigation department at the Denver law firm of Sherman & Howard L.L.C.
Mr. Baer serves on the Board of Trustees of National Jewish Medical Center. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Duke University.
Mark D. Carleton - serves as Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and GCI Liberty. Mr. Carleton joined Liberty in December 2003 and has held a number of senior executive positions during his tenure, most recently serving as Chief Development Officer before taking on his current role in October 2016. Prior to joining Liberty, Mr. Carleton served as a partner in the accounting firm of KPMG, where he had overall responsibility for the communications sector and served on KPMG's board of directors.
Mr. Carleton serves as a director of Liberty-related companies SiriusXM, Live Nation Entertainment and Atlanta Braves, Inc., and is also a director of Barnes and Noble, Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain and U.S. Speedskating. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Colorado State University.
Albert E. Rosenthaler – serves as Chief Corporate Development Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and GCI Liberty. As Chief Corporate Development Officer, Mr. Rosenthaler is responsible for identifying and pursuing investment and other opportunities and assists in setting strategic direction to maximize shareholder value. Mr. Rosenthaler has been with Liberty since April 2002 and most recently served as Liberty’s Chief Tax Officer before taking on his current role in October 2016.
Mr. Rosenthaler serves as a director of Liberty TripAdvisor and TripAdvisor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Olivet College and a Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois.
